About us: Cattle enthusiast (I love cows of any kind!)
I have two milk cows, a Holstein ox/riding steer named Mack, various calves around always-drinking the extra milk, and beef steers.
Mack is used mostly for misc. farm work , hauling the hay bales to the cattle in the winter, giving rides to family and friends, hauling fire wood, demonstraitions, parades.
Usually I have quiet, started calves, for sale.

About us: I have had an ox team since 1997. I am a homesick Nova Scotian and head-yoked
oxen were widely used in Southwestern Nova Scotia when I was a child. My Brown Swiss oxen serve no useful purpose, but do odd jobs around their home acreage and keep me in touch with land and animals.
